Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on MyDogCanFly. We keep this to a strict minimum: we do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Strictly necessary cookies

Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site securely and tell humans apart from bots (for example __cf_bm and cf_clearance). These are essential to operate and protect the site and do not require consent. They do not track you across other websites.

Functional browser storage

Our tools use your browser's sessionStorage (not a cookie) to remember the breed and airline you selected, so your choices carry from one tool to the next during your visit. This information stays on your device, is cleared when you close the tab, and is never sent to our servers.

Audience measurement

We use two tools to understand how the site is read. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs without cookies, without any persistent identifier and without fingerprinting: it counts page views, countries and referrers, and stores nothing on your device, so it needs no consent. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and sends your IP address to Google: it is loaded only after you click Accept in our consent banner, and nothing is sent to Google before that click. Your choice is kept for six months, then asked again.

What we do not use

We use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we never sell or share browsing data.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect security features, but the informational content of the site will still work.
