⚖️ Where does your dog travel?
« As a general policy, we do not accept pets in the cabin for travel, except for the conditions listed above. » « accept dog/cat for carriage as checked baggage » Thai Airways has temporarily banned live-animal transport to and from countries in Europe, except the United Kingdom, since 9 March 2024 and until further notice: the hold is closed on those routes. AVIH is also not offered on flights to Auckland, Denpasar, Dubai or Hong Kong, nor to or from Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney). Our Finder has no Thai Airways route to Auckland or Dubai: their absence from the tool is not the airline’s refusal. London is left to confirm because the Thai-language page contradicts itself: its note excludes London from AVIH, while its own folded panel sends only the heaviest pieces to cargo. AVIH is never offered on Airbus A320 flights, whatever the route; the aircraft is not modelled by the Finder. The airline refuses snub-nosed dogs and other breeds, named one by one in a published list that our Finder does not yet encode; container requirements are published, but not its dimensions, which a THAI office gives.

Where to next?
Go straight to what you need — no need to run a new search.
On a codeshare flight, the airline selling the ticket may be different from the airline operating the flight. Your dog’s travel conditions may therefore depend on the operating carrier. Always check the “operated by” notice before booking.
