⚖️ Where does your dog travel?
Domestic flights within the contiguous U.S.:
« On domestic flights within the contiguous U.S., small dogs, cats and household birds that meet the age, health, size and kennel requirements can travel in the cabin. » Outside the contiguous U.S., Delta accepts dogs and cats in the cabin if they have the documents required to enter the destination and, where applicable, to return to their country of origin, except to or from Australia, Barbados, Hong Kong, Iceland, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and on flights to Hawaii. A pet cannot start its trip in Brazil, Colombia or the Dominican Republic unless it is returning from a trip that began in the U.S. For in-cabin travel to or from Ireland, Delta's official pages do not say the same thing, since one prohibits it while the other two do not: confirm with Delta before booking.

On a codeshare flight, the airline selling the ticket may be different from the airline operating the flight. Your dog’s travel conditions may therefore depend on the operating carrier. Always check the “operated by” notice before booking.
